Louise and Paul follow the stars to Ibiza hot spot

RADIO star Louise Duffy has jetted off for a holiday with fiance Paul Galvin ahead of her change to a prime-time radio slot later this month.

The Diary can reveal how the Today FM broadcaster (30) is enjoying some much-earned rest and relaxation over on the party island of Ibiza.

She's no doubt celebrating after her afternoon show on the independent station claimed 5,000 more listeners than the previous survey in April.

As revealed in this newspaper, former 98fm DJs Dermot and Dave will be taking over part of her slot as she moves to a later "prime-time slot" with the station.

"She only started her afternoon show in March but it's been going down a storm with listeners," said a source.

"The schedule is quite tight in Today FM, so Louise will take over a programme later in the afternoon as part of the station's Autumn plans."

Smitten Louise and Paul (34) have now followed the celebrity crew over to the Mediterranean as they soak up the rays on the Spanish island.

Everyone from P Diddy to Justin Bieber, Naomi Campbell and Orlando Bloom have been spotted over there as it becomes one of the top celeb destinations.

And the island has become increasingly popular with our Irish stars, given that Leigh Arnold got married there recently and Andrea Roche celebrated her two-year anniversary in Ibiza last month.

Fashion-forward Paul went down on bended knee during a trip to Manhattan last March as he moved things up a gear between the pair.

The former Kerry GAA footballer has been dating the Mayo native for the past three years.

The notoriously-private couple prefer to keep their cards close to their chest when it comes to their relationship and didn't confirm they were an item for months.

Louise, who turned the big 30 recently, said that it was "all a bit of a whirlwind" when he popped the question.

She said it was a massive surprise when Paul proposed - and he even bought her two rings.

He got her a ruby ring to propose with and then they went together to pick her diamond engagement ring.

She said they're in no rush to walk down the aisle either.

"We'll do it at some point," she said. "I won't be losing my life planning it. I just want it to be a happy time with friends and family.

"I am excited about being married to Paul more than the day out," she added.
