Louis joins The Chase for cash to help charity

LOUIS Walsh will be pursuing some serious cash for charity after signing up for hit ITV show The Chase.

The music guru (inset) will be seen doing his best for a good cause on the popular quiz programme, which is due to air shortly.

However, unlike his appearance on Deal or No Deal, where he won the most money for a celebrity edition, he finds the ITV programme a little trickier.

A source said: "Louis did so well when he appeared on Deal or No Deal two years ago. He ended up winning £70,000 for charity, which ISPCC patron Caroline Desmond was thrilled with.

"What was great about that show was that he was surrounded by his closest family and friends.

"He found The Chase a bit more of a challenge, given that he hadn't really watched the show before, so it was all new to him.

"But he gave it his best shot and even mentioning the charity on-air was great for its profile."

The Mayo native again chose the ISPCC as his charity of choice in an attempt to drum up some funds for his close friend's organisation.
