Louis changes his tune on pledge to quit the X-Factor

LOUIS Walsh has revealed he is having second thoughts over whether to quit The X Factor.

The 61-year-old, who has been a judge on the hit show for the past 10 years, announced during the summer that he would call it a day at the end of the current series.

But the Mayo-born pop guru has admitted he has been re-thinking his decision because he's been enjoying the show more than ever and has hit it off with fellow judges Sharon Osbourne, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger.

He said: "I'll probably miss being on the show big-time. If Simon [Cowell] came back and asked me to stay, I am sure I would. To have Simon there would be the icing on the cake.

HONEST

"IT'S THE BEST AND MOST HONEST PANEL WE'VE HAD. ALSO, THERE IS A NEW-FOUND ENERGY TO THE SHOW WITH THE RETURN OF SHARON," LOUIS ADDED.

"We slag everybody off together, even Simon. Also, she has made Gary Barlow laugh, which is a first."

However, Walsh – who is mentoring the 'boys' category this year – admits there if fierce rivalry between all the judges.

"We judges will get competitive, but I love the live shows because you walk in and you don't know how the acts will deliver the songs, what the other judges will say and what the reaction at home will be," he said.
