Lloyds to cut 570 jobs

LLOYDS Banking chief executive Antonio Horta-Osorio plans to cut 570 jobs and outsource up to 600 roles.

The new chief has angered unions as the announcement pushes the tally of job cuts since Lloyds rescued HBOS close to 27,000.

The bank insists compulsory redundancies would be a "last resort".
