Live in Fade Street flat... for only €530 a month

WELCOME to Fade Street. It might not be quite the Hollywood Hills, but it is now one of the most famous addresses in the country thanks to the reality show of the same name.

Fade Street follows the day-to-day lives of Vogue Williams (24), Louise Johnston (22), Danielle Robinson (21) and Cici Kavanagh (19) as they each carve out a life for themselves in the capital.

And now you too can live like a reality TV star for just € 530, a third share of the €1,600 a month -- not too shabby for a three-bed apartment in the city.

The Herald was given exclusive access to the pad where Dani and Louise lived during filming, and is now up for rent with dublinlettings.com.

Upon entering the top-floor flat, the first thing I notice is that it's bigger than it seems on screen.

The couch seems twice the size of what's shown on the programme, and the main bedroom would make any yuppie proud -- a double bed, plenty of floor space and a view overlooking George's Street.

And there are still traces of the previous tenants on the walls, with drawings of Danielle done by a pal hanging up.

But with its prime location, estate agents expect to shift the property quickly. Dublinlettings.com agent Igor Fleming explained that not many people realise that the apartment was the setting for the show when they arrange to view it.

"I think that the person that watches the show probably cannot afford a place in Dublin city centre, because it's quite a younger audience that is watching it."
