AS VIP host at Lillies Bordello, Paul Smith has spent years welcoming the city's socialites and stars.
He's on first-name terms with everyone from Bono to Michael Fassbender, thanks to his time in the Grafton Street venue.
But now he's off to pastures new after revealing to the Diary how he has snapped up a job working with Funky Buddha in Mayfair.
He has decided to spread his wings further after getting the job of front of house manager.
Given the wealth of Irish celebrities who live over there now, such as Laura Whitmore (pictured) and Niall Horan, no doubt he'll be seeing some familiar faces at the club.
"I left Lillies at the end of June and they were great, they couldn't have been more supportive," he said. "I lived in London years ago when I was in my 20s and I loved it. I'm really looking forward to it."
He described Funky Buddha as a "celebrity venue" which has a sister club in Marbella.
To celebrate his new job, he held a raucous bash in Koh restaurant in Dublin's Italian quarter on Friday night, where he was joined by all his nearest and dearest.
