two people have died from separate lightning strikes in Wales' Brecon Beacons national park.
The Prince Charles Hospital in Merthr Tydfil, about 40km north of Cardiff, confirmed that two others remain in the hospital following last night's lightning storm on the Pen Y Fan mountain range in Wales. One of the injured was being treated for burns.
Earlier, the ambulance service said three people had been hospitalised after being hit by lightning.
