Life is a Fitch for these Irish pin-ups

THEY set pulses racing when they posed on Dame Street for an Abercrombie & Fitch photo shoot -- but the Herald can reveal that two of the superhunks are in fact Irish

And David Neil (24) and Philip Doyle (19) are determined to show their fellow models what Dublin city has to offer on a Saturday night.

UCD engineering student David says the boys will be around the city tonight and could end up in celebrity favourite Lillie's Bordello.

"We're going to show them a good time," the Tullamore native said. "I've been to Lillie's a couple of times so we may head there."

And Philip said that the models wanted to see the sights and sounds of Dublin.

"We'll show them the city, take them to see some of the sights, have a pint of Guinness."

"Then tonight we'll all head out. It should be a good one -- with Halloween and the bank holiday, it's going to be a fun few days."

Medical student Philip will work as a model and greeter in the store. He was approached by Abercrombie recruiters this summer.

"I was in Dublin for the RDS Horse Show this summer.

"I was with my family and just wandering about when three recruiters came up.

"They asked if I wanted a job in Abercrombie. I said 'Of course'. My friends are jealous."

Philip is studying at Queen's and will commute to Dublin for his shifts.

Neil was approached while enjoying a lazy day in the park.

"I was just hanging out in Stephen's Green Park when they came up and asked me if I wanted a job."

The US retailer will throw open its doors on Thursday. Yesterday, the boys spilled out on to the streets for a photocall, posing for the cameras and chatting and passers-by.
