Legal: €30m tally on tribunal

THE FINAL cost of the Moriarty Tribunal has risen above €30m and the inquiry is expected to continue through 2011.

Fees paid to barristers and solicitors show that two senior counsel earned more than €9m each in fees. John Coughlan (pictured) and Jerry Healy racked up the amount since the beginning of the investigation while another SC, Jacqui O'Brien, has earned €6.5m.
