LED firm's e75m deal

IRISH lighting company Nualight has plans to boost its alliance with global refrigeration systems group Hussman to provide LED lighting products to the Americas.

The deal could be worth $100m (¤75m) to the pair over the next two to three years.

The companies have jointly developed a family of products called EcoShine II -- to "enhance retailer's food merchandising".

Nualight's CEO Liam Kelly (above) said LED fixtures also allow energy savings of more than 60pc. The firm is supported by Enterprise Ireland.
