Lazy teen gets a week in custody

a DUBLIN teenager who would not get out of bed to face a court hearing has ended up in custody for a week.

The 17-year-old was due to appear at Dublin Children's Court on Monday to face one count of possessing implements, including a set of screwdrivers and gloves, for use in a theft or burglary.

A warrant was issued and he was arrested later on Monday and taken before the court yesterday. When asked why he had failed to show up he said he "didn't want to get out of bed".
