Keeping up with the Keatings as family stays fit

Is this Ireland's fittest family? Ronan Keating is clearly passing on his fitness gene to his three children.

Jack (15), Missy (13) and Ali (9) hit Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia for an early morning training regime.

The former Boyzone star is appearing on X Factor Australia as a judge, and his children have joined him while they're on their holidays from school.

And it appeared as if the gruelling regime was not too much for the children - who all smiled throughout.

Ronan proudly showed off his exercise regime, which included a jog with his youngest daughter Ali, an impressive array of push-ups and then acquired Jack's assistance during his sit-up routine.

His girlfriend, Storm Uechtritz, is believed to have been busy with her TV production work, letting the family bond during their time Down Under.

Ronan and Storm are considering a permanent move to Dublin next year so that he can be closer to his children, who live with their mother Yvonne, in Malahide.

Yvonne has moved on with her new beau John Conroy and after seven months on the market, her €2.4m mansion in the plush Abington estate was finally sold.

It's believed Ronan is looking to purchase another property nearby.

Meanwhile, the singer, who has also branched into acting with a role in the new Postman Pat movie, said that it was his squeaky clean image that contributed to his downfall after his marriage with Yvonne ended in 2010.

The 37-year-old married former model Yvonne when he was 21.

The pair split up after details of an affair he had with a dancer emerged.

"It's hard in Ireland because it's such a small country, and it has that small-country
syndrome," he said.

"I've made mistakes by moaning about it in the past, but you know what? This is what I choose to do. You've got to like it or lump it. I was always setting myself up for the fall. I was always holier than holy, cleaner than clean."
