Keelings boss speaks at Sino-Irish seminar

Caroline Keeling, chief executive of St Margaret's fresh produce company Keelings, is pictured at yesterday's Sino-Irish business seminar in Dublin's Westbury Hotel.

Ms Keeling was among the speakers at the event which was designed both for businesses with a foothold in China and those seeking to establish one.

It focused on the agriculture and food sector.

Ms Keeling is part of the third generation of the Keeling family to run the business.

She was recently named the winner of the Pantene Business Award at the Irish Tatler Women of the Year Awards 2014.

Keelings, which employs around 2,000 people, supplies fruit, salad, vegetables, flowers and plants to Irish retailers. It ripens more than three million bananas a week.
