A man fell 20 feet while waiting to get on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride at Disney's California Adventure theme park -- after joking about falling over.
The 20-year-old man, who was treated for minor injuries, was queueing on a staircase leading to the attraction in Anaheim when he climbed over a barrier on a second-floor landing, lost his balance and fell, a Disneyland spokeswoman said.
A police sergeant said the man was with friends when he put a leg over the railing, joked about the chance of someone falling over -- then fell over.
Virgin space jet hits problems
Virgin Galactic's space tourism jet has suffered a landing gear problem during a test flight in California's Mojave Desert.
The incident happened on a runway at the Mojave Air and Space Port.
Aircraft builder Scaled Composites said there was a mechanical problem with the left landing gear of the WhiteKnightTwo, a four-engine jet that will serve as the mother ship to Virgin's passenger-carrying spaceship.
WhiteKnightTwo is designed to carry Virgin's spaceship to high altitude and then release the rocket, which will then fire its engine for a brief dash into space.
