Jedward to cheer Blues on -- from Germany

Madcap Dublin duo Jedward have thrown their support behind the boys in blue for this weekend's All-Ireland.

Sports mad John and Edward Grimes (19) are devastated they can't make it to the final, as they are performing a string of dates in Europe.

"We're so excited for Dublin this weekend. We wish we could be in Croke Park cheering on the Dubs, but we'll be in Germany. Maybe we'll get to see it in German -- that would be so cool. Come on Dublin!" they said.

The Lucan duo are continuing to take Europe by storm as they bring their Carnival tour to Sweden this Friday.

They'll take to the stage in Stockholm before flying to Germany where they'll open with a string of dates starting off in Hamburg.

The pair amassed an army of new fans over there thanks to Eurovision, where they bombarded Dusseldorf with 'Jedhead' masks.

Long-time Dublin fans, they made a memorable appearance at the hallowed ground at the very start of the Allianz League Spring Series when they warmed up the crowd.

Last February saw them run out on the pitch during the break in a double-header match extravaganza which saw Dublin taking on Cork in an NFL clash.

It was the first time that the energetic duo had performed their Eurovision single Lipstick at an outdoor venue, watched by 35,000 GAA fans, as well as belting out Ice Ice Baby and the Ghostbusters.
