NEW mums, a 'six-time' on-again-off again romance, a news anchor in a skirt she's had "for years" and one man and his dog were among the glitterati that turned out for the party of the year.
Republic's of Telly's Jennifer Maguire looked stunning in a red-and-white two-piece from Marion Murphy Cooney and was enjoying her first night out since giving birth to baby Florence last month.
"It's nice to be out but it's stressful. They know when you're going out, she roared as I was leaving the house," she told the Herald on the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards red carpet.
"I'll be having a few drinks - it's so nice to be out with people and interact but there'll be no mad partying tonight," Jennifer said.
Fellow new mum TV3's Karen Koster, who gave birth to her first child Finn three months ago, also wowed as she arrived decked out in a striking pink number.
On-again off-again couple Gerald Keane and Lisa Murphy revealed that they are in fact together again with Gerald quipping, "sixth time's the charm".
Meanwhile, former RTE stalwart Anne Doyle looked to the high street for inspiration for her outfit on the night.
She said she rarely attends these kind of events and said it was her long-term partner Dan McGrattan who was keen to head along.
"I don't usually come to these, but Dan insisted - his jaw hits the floor," she said laughing at his reaction to her glamorous outfit. "The skirt I've had for years and the top is from Dunnes Stores."
The host for the night was presenter and stylist Darren Kennedy, who turned up with teacup terrier Harry and was giddy before the festivities.
"I'm genuinely looking forward to having a good night, it's less than two years since I won and less than five years ago I could barely get an invite," he laughed. "All my outfits on the night are from my new suit collection with Louis Copeland."
Other guests at the Marker Hotel included Boyzone star Keith Duffy and his wife Lisa, TV3's Laura Woods and Anna Daly, Love/Hate's Aoibhinn McGinnity, and Virginia Macari and her fiance Kaste Dahl.
Twink and her daughters, Naomi and Chloe, looked beautiful in stunning gowns from Frock'n'Fabulous and she said it was a "fluke" that they could all go together.
Former Miss Ireland Holly Carpenter was a shimmering delight in a pink sequin dress, from Cari's Closet, saying she "went back to her pageant roots".
"I'm delighted to be wearing her," she said.
Her blog post on what girls really mean when they send snap chats to boys went viral recently and she had to dash off from the awards to talk about it with Ryan Tubridy.
"I'm actually on the Late Late Show tonight to talk about the post. It went global, it was crazy, it was on FHM, Playboy, all these blogs and it was translated into different languages.
"I was in America for the whole thing and my phone was blowing up and I just didn't understand. I was visiting my brother in the US at the time and it just went mental," she added.
Reigning Rose of Tralee Maria Walsh said finding the right dress to go with her sash had been a challenge.
"The sash is the ultimate accessory, I have my crown on and I brought my brother and I'm looking forward to dancing the night away," she said.
