This record-breaking attempt was unfortunately not sealed with a kiss.
Almost 300 people took part in a kissing chain in a bid to break the world record and raise awareness of pulmonary hypertension.
However, the organisation said they were 50 people short in the line at St Brigid's GAA grounds on the Navan Road to beat the current record held by China.
"We had 292 people and we needed 351," Regina Prenderville from the Pulmonary Hypertension Association told the Herald.
Idiopathic Pulmonary Hypertension is often misdiagnosed.
"Patients present with tiredness and breathlessness so doctors often treat them for asthma," Ms Prenderville said.
"But if it is not correctly diagnosed, it can be fatal."
