Irish bosses rise in UK

IRISH expats continue to top the list of UK-based company directors, new research has revealed.

The 2012 Eulogy! Foreign Directors Report, reveals that Irish directors make up 16pc of the number of non-British directors in the UK.

The actual number of Irish directors has grown year on year by more than 9pc to 45,384. Of the five EU countries in the top 10, Irish directors account for almost half.

Irish women are also the most successful foreign female directors. Adrian Brady, chief exec of Eulogy! London said that the scale of the Irish director community was a great illustration of the growing contribution we make to British business.
