Indoor soccer boost

IRELAND'S first custom-designed indoor soccer facility has been opened at Airways Industrial Estate in Dublin.

Dublin Indoor Football was set up by husband-and-wife team John O'Donohoe and Patricia O'Connor.

The couple, who had a corporate business travel company, have turned to the recreational market and decided soccer was their game of choice.

"We are offering soccer players a real alternative to outdoor pitches, where they can hold training and football playoffs all year round regardless of the weather," said Patricia O'Connor.
