In Brief: Ozzy sober for 90 days: wife

OZZY Osbourne has now been sober for 90 days, his wife Sharon has confirmed.

The X Factor judge revealed her husband of 30 years is back on the straight and narrow following his admission in April that he had fallen off the wagon.

Discussing her long marriage, she said: "It's acceptance of who that person is. If you think you're ever going to change anyone, you're not going to do it."

 

'TRAFFICKER' ON NEW CHARGE

A Chinese man has admitted impeding the prosecution of others who he knew to be responsible for human trafficking in Ireland four years ago.

Song Bo He (32) was on trial for human trafficking, having pleaded not guilty to conspiring with others to organising and facilitating the entry into Ireland of illegal immigrants or asylum seekers in 2009.

On day five of the trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, Una Ni Raifeartaigh, prosecuting, told the jury that a new indictment had been prepared which has an additional count on it.

She said Song could now be arraigned on the second count.

 

KATY AND JOHN BACK ON AGAIN

KATY Perry (28) and John Mayer (35) are rumoured to have rekindled their romance for a third time.

The pair split for the second time in March, but according to reports they are giving their relationship another go.

Firework star Katy and singer-songwriter John recently enjoyed a date and have since been spending nights out together again.

 

LIBYA DEATH TOLL RISES TO 27

The death toll from clashes between protesters and former rebels aligned with the military in Benghazi has risen to 27.

The violence broke out on Saturday after protesters stormed a base belonging to Libya Shield, a grouping of pro-government militias tasked with maintaining security.

The protesters were demanding that militias leave their camp and submit to the full authority of Libya's security forces. Officials originally reported seven dead.
