IN BRIEF: Fugitive boy is back in custody

A 13-YEAR-OLD boy, who has repeatedly gone missing from care and is facing a motor theft charge, had his bail revoked yesterday.

The boy, who is accused of stealing a car in Dublin, on March 16, is in voluntary care of the HSE. He had been remanded in custody following his arrest but was granted bail at Dublin Children's Court last Thursday.

Yesterday the case resumed and Judge Bryan Smyth heard that the boy had broken his curfew by going missing from care on two nights. He was found driving a car and had been arrested again.

Judge Smyth remanded him to a juvenile detention centre for one week.

Guest spot on Glee for LiLo

Actress Lindsay Lohan will appear as a guest star on TV musical comedy Glee in the latest step of a comeback for the once rising star whose career has been tarnished by drinking, drugs and legal troubles.

An entertainment website said Lohan would play herself and serve as a celebrity judge when the Glee choir performs at a key contest toward the end of this current season.

Lohan (25) is set to have her probation formally lifted later this week.

Teen in Pacific ordeal is home

A Panamanian teenager who survived 28 days adrift in the Pacific Ocean has arrived home.

Adrian Vasquez (18) and two friends left on a fishing trip on February 24 and were heading back to Rio Hato when the boat's motor failed.

His two friends died within three weeks, but Mr Vasquez was rescued on Friday by Ecuadorean fishermen off the Galapagos Islands, more than 600 miles from where the trio had set out.

Martina ousted in dance show

Martina Navratilova has done her last dance on Dancing With The Stars.

The tennis champ was eliminated from the US TV dance competition and became the first star dismissed from the series' new season.

She came into the results episode in last place and was disappointed, but not surprised, after mistakes during her jive.
