More than three-quarters of British children have been abroad -- but one in 10 cannot find the UK on a map, a survey has said.
The Heathrow study of 1,000 children between the ages of six and 10 also revealed that 41pc did not know that the UK is in Europe. They found that 78pc had been abroad, 48pc going to Spain by the age of 10 and 42pc to France. But 45pc could not find Spain on a map and 36pc were unable to identify France.
Madonna beats Presley record
Madonna's MDNA has gone straight in at number one, sending the singer into the record books.
MDNA is Madonna's 12th album to top the UK charts, which means she has beaten Elvis Presley's record of 11 chart-topping albums to become the most successful solo artist ever in UK album charts, the Official Charts Company said. It will be welcome news for Madonna, whose first single from MDNA, Give Me All Your Luvin', peaked at number 37.
