IMF wants answers

Internatonal Monetary Fund (IMF) chiefs are to quiz the new Coalition Government about its Programme for Government.

The IMF is already due to visit Ireland in early April to carry out a review of the €67.5m bailout plan from last November and the organisation anticipates that talks will begin soon.

"We look forward to starting discussions on the Government's programme and to developing a better understanding of some of the important details," the spokesman said.
