X Factor judge Louis Walsh has said he thinks things will be fine between Mel B and her husband.
Mel has reportedly split from Stephen Belafonte after a series of explosive rows last weekend.
Belafonte is believed to have moved to the couple's home in LA while Mel has remained in their London apartment following her hospital stay last week.
The former Spice Girls singer was hospitalised for a virus and was unable to attend the Saturday night X Factor show.
However, Belafonte has slammed claims that he was responsible for Mel's scratched and bruised appearance on the X Factor on Sunday night.
While tensions remain high between the couple, Louis believes they will work things out.
"I sent her a text and I got her a present and that was it. I think she's going to be fine," he told the Herald.
"I think she was burning the candle at both ends. She worked so hard the last few weeks, she was doing photo shoots and everything plus she has three kids.
"I've seen her with her kids and she's a really good mother.
"I think she worked too hard, everything is just taking it's toll.
"I'm sure everything will be fine between her and her husband."
Louis (62) also admitted that he's glad the current series of X Factor has finished, and revealed he's not sure if he'll return to the top talent show next year.
"It's over, I'm glad it's over. I need a rest.
"It was really good fun but I don't know if I'll do another series.
"Eleven years is a long time. I honestly don't know."
The Hometown manager is looking forward to a holiday and then working with the Irish boyband into the new year.
"I'm going to holiday in Miami for a while after Christmas," he said.
"I'm all about Hometown now - watch this space, they can really sing, they're different, they're from the country and they're number one in the charts.
"We've got a great follow-up song as well. Ed Sheeran wrote a song for them.
"We've got songs coming from everywhere which is exciting."
