I'd love to be a dad again, says legal eagle Gerald

CELEBRITY lawyer Gerald Kean is ready to become a father again.

The legal eagle has revealed he would happily have a child with fiancee Lisa Murphy.

Kean (57) already has a teenage daughter, Kirsten, with ex-wife Clodagh Hopkins.

"Even though I am getting on, I would have no problem with another child tomorrow," he said.

"I would love it. They're great, kids. Kirsten is the greatest thing that ever happened to my life.

"Lisa would make an incredible mother. I mean, Jaysus, I wouldn't get near the child, I'd say. And, if any woman deserves a child, it is Lisa."

The lawyer and Murphy parted ways in 2012, but rekindled their romance last year.

And the couple, who live in father-of-one Kean's plush Wicklow mansion Drayton Manor, still insist they're planning to walk down the aisle, but they have yet to put a date on the occasion.

"The commitment is there for both of us, we just haven't done it," Kean said.

SETBACKS

"I fully intend to get married – I think the timing of it is important. We had a couple of setbacks and we got over them. It won't be done in a hurry."

But while wedding plans may be currently on the back burner, Kean is already contemplating a birthday bash for his 60th, which is still three years away.

The solicitor to the stars famously hosted a themed Lords and Ladies of the 18th Century party to toast turning 50 in 2007.

"It raised money and it was a great night," he said of the bash.
