'I enjoyed Twitter spat', says Cleese

John Cleese has said he enjoyed his Twitter spat with Piers Morgan, during which he told him he had not been talented "for a lifetime".

The Monty Python star (75) said the online war of words, which broke out following an article Morgan wrote, was "a little bit of fencing" and said he now thinks of it as "just a little matter of an entertainment".

Former Daily Mirror editor Morgan wrote a column accusing Cleese (right) of having become "a whining pub bore", and a Twitter exchange ensued.

Speaking about the spat Cleese, who described Morgan as "a real third-rater" told BBC Radio Five Live it was enjoyable.
