SHE'S due to give birth next month and parenthood can't come quickly enough for actress Sonya Macari.
The half-Italian beauty and her musician hubby Colin Devlin will welcome their first child in Los Angeles on August 21.
Sonya is coming to the end of what has been "the easiest pregnancy ever".
"We cannot wait to be parents and we're not nervous at all, just looking forward to getting to know the baby," she said.
The couple have been together 13 years and Sonya (33) said they've been thinking about a family for a while.
"It was very much planned and even at our wedding we knew we wanted kids soon afterwards, so the timing is perfect," she told the Herald.
adrenalin Although she'll christen her baby in Ireland in the New Year, Sonya has no plans to return to Dublin.
"I'm coming home in mid-January to christen the baby and stay for two months, that's the plan for the moment," she said.
"My mum is coming out to California to help me for a bit though."
The brunette, who admitted she "definitely" wants more than one kid, is taking the rest of the year off from the movie set to focus on her baby.
"I'm already running on adrenalin," she said. "Obviously, this will be a new experience but we can't wait."
In the run up to her due date, she's been speaking at seminars to promote her book, The Actor's Passport.
"The house is in order and if the baby came tomorrow, I'd be ready," she said.
