ALMOST half of all employees take work home at least once a month, a survey found.
Workers said advances in mobile technology have made it easier to work remotely and expect the trend to accelerate over the next 12 months.
Over a quarter of those already taking the job home have a dedicated working space in their house, while more than half would consider setting one up.
The survey was carried out for O2. The company's business director, Alan Brown, said the way people work is changing radically.
"We are becoming a nation of not just road warriors but home warriors," he said.
