Jedward have backed Gay Byrne as the next best candidate for President -- after themselves.
The brothers, attending a signing event in Cork, dismissed the age argument, and John said Gaybo (77) would "be great".
But Edward said they'd be better: "If we were allowed to contest the election we would totally win."
The snag is that the twins are too young to run fo the highest office in the land.
"We need a referendum to get the age limit for President down to 20," said John.
