Grass carpets

A DUBLIN hotel group sowed the seeds of 'grass carpets' in meeting rooms in a bid to promote creativity at business conferences. The idea, introduced by Crowne Plaza, is an attempt to stimulate thinking in an unusual environment.

Research has outlined that 40pc of professionals lose focus within the first 20 minutes of a meeting, often due to their uninspiring surroundings.

"Crowne Plaza's initiative is perfect because it breaks down the self-imposed rules that prevent us from achieving our full potential," said professional speaker Angela Whitlock.
