Grand slam for jobs agency

THE opening of a new recruitment agency in Dublin city centre is a sign the economy is picking up, a businessman has said.

David O’Reilly, founder of O’Reilly Recruitment, marked the tenth year of his firm being in business in Kildare by opening another office on the capital’s Clarendon Street.

Mr O’Reilly said sentiment is definitely changing among those looking for work and those hiring.

“Many more candidates are coming to us looking to change from one job to another, before this they just came to find a job,” said Mr O’Reilly, who was joined by Ireland rugby coach, Joe Schmidt, for the celebrations.

“Demand [for recruits] has also definitely improved, especially in the finance industry,” he said.

The agency also recruits in human resources, office support and sales and marketing among other areas.
