IRISH may not be the first language of love that springs to mind, but for Grainne Seoige's South African fiance there was really no avoiding it.
Rugby coach Leon Jordaan proposed to Galway girl Grainne earlier this year and the pair are set to walk down the aisle next year.
The pair will celebrate twice, with one ceremony here and another in Jordaan's native South Africa.
Gaelgoir Grainne's career began at TG4 so it's no surprise that Leon is picking up a cupla focal.
Meanhwile, Grainne says she's also trying to learn some of his native language too.
"Everything he has is in a Connemara accent. He speaks with a real Mayo/Galway accent. He's learning Irish and I'm speaking Afrikaan," she said.
"He loves it here, he has an Irish passport now because he's here 10 years now," she said.
The loved up couple announced their engagement earlier this year with a glitzy bash in Dublin club Lillies Bordello.
Grainne admitted that it was definitely the highlight of her year.
