RUGBY legend Paul O'Connell teed off funding for students at University of Limerick in excess of €50,000 during his inaugural charity golf outing.
The event, which was held at Adare Manor, Co Limerick, was organised by the Ireland rugby player and University of Limerick (UL) Foundation board member.
The amount raised will directly fund scholarships at UL for disadvantaged students.
"I'm delighted to support the work of the Foundation and help some students who would otherwise not be able to pursue third-level education," said O'Connell.
