Golden couple facing ruin

They were once toasted as Dublin's golden couple -- now they stand to lose it all.

Lawyer Brian O'Donnell and his doctor wife Mary Pat could now be forced to forfeit their millionaires' row home, owing debts of €71m.

At one stage, the couple were seen as the symbol of Ireland's Celtic Tiger success -- grabbing up expensive property on the back of a huge loans.

Now the bank could grab their astonishing home, Gorse Hill on Vico Road, Killiney.

Plans put in place by the couple and the bank to pay back millions have fallen through and the O'Donnells haven't met payment deadlines.
