Georgia and Andrea part ways after claims model 'was late for shoots'

MODEL boss Andrea Roche and her top model Georgia Salpa have parted ways. Georgia (27) was the top earner for Ms Roche's agency AR Models - but their professional relationship is no more.

Last night, a statement released by Neon Management - Georgia's London agents - confirmed the pair had parted ways and they would now be looking after Georgia's jobs in Ireland.

However, a source close to Andrea said the pair both decided to end their working relationship on Thursday of last week.

Their decision comes after claims that Georgia was 'late for a number of important jobs'.

Feelings

Georgia missed a high-profile assignment with Lynx after she ended up missing her flight back to Dublin on Monday of last week. The shoot was re-scheduled two days later.

"There's no hard feelings between them. They're still in contact and Andrea wishes her all the best with her future," a source said.

Georgia was one of the first big-name signings to jump ship from Assets agency to join the Tipperary model mogul's company two years ago.

Since then, her career has gone from strength to strength, after she landed a stint on Celebrity Salon where she met Calum Best, who helped her break into the UK market.

She was then chosen as a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother, which helped her boost her profile considerably across the water.

Now in a relationship with British hedge-fund manager Joe Penna, she divides her time between London, Marbella and Dublin. She has also made attempts to break into the US market with a view to becoming a Victoria's Secret model.

In last night's statement, her new agent Dave Read said she had fulfilled a year's contract with Neon and had decided they're the best agency for her career.

Georgia herself said she was "grateful" to AR for the work she has done with them and to Andrea for "helping to take me to the next level."
