Terms and Conditions – Completed entries along with your three tokens must be sent to: Trees For Communities, PO Box 11, Independent Newspapers, Independent House, 27 – 32 Talbot Street, Dublin 1.
Entries will not be accepted at The Native Woodland Trust offices or any other location other than the location specified. Tokens will appear on page 2 of the Herald from Monday March 2nd to Friday, March 6th.
Only one entry per applicant. Photocopies of the entry form and or tokens will not be accepted. The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday March 20th, 2015. Incomplete, illegible, late applications will not be accepted.
No responsibility will be accepted for applications lost or delayed in the course of delivery.
Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Applications sent to any other address will be deemed invalid and will not be processed. Independent Newspapers accepts no responsibility in the case of any disputes over the allocation of prize.
The promoters reserve the right in their absolute discretion to disqualify any applicant, to add to, or waive any rule without prior notice to the applicants and, in the event of circumstances beyond their control, to cancel the competition at any stage. Participation in this offer is hereby deemed to indicate acceptance of the Terms and Conditions as outlined.
There is no cash or alternative for the prize which if not accepted on the terms and conditions herein contained shall be deemed withdrawn. Any breach of these terms and conditions, as determined exclusively by the promoters, will result in automatic disqualification.
The winner of the prize will be the entrant who by using their skill and judgment provides the most unique and imaginative answer in the opinion of the judging panel. The Judge’s decision will be final. No correspondence will be entered into.
The composition of tree species in the various bundle types shall be subject to availability and the inclusion of specific species is not guaranteed. Deliveries for any specific date cannot be guaranteed but the Trust will do all within its power to deliver in October 2015 or within any time-frame that may be agreed between the Trust and the recipient.
The Trust shall take all reasonable care in the packaging of the items but in the event that any such items are damaged in transit no liability shall be attached to the Trust. The recipient acknowledges that the prize items are living plants and need to be cared for after delivery.
Neither the Trust, its employees, directors, officers, servants, members, partners, sponsors or agents cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage that may be occasioned either directly or indirectly from the delivery, planting, growth, pruning, felling or otherwise of the seedlings, trees, branches, leaves, roots and any other parts or elements of the trees. Each winning group will receive 30 native trees and a tree planting and identification guide delivered to them by courier.
For the duration of the promotion membership of The Native Woodland Trust to will be available to Herald readers 20euro (normally 35euro).
