A popular Dublin DJ has been put off the road for three years after being convicted of drink driving, the Herald can reveal.
Ben Murray (24) who presents an afternoon music show on Dublin's FM104, was convicted of the offence in June.
He was arrested by gardai following a collision on the M1 at Santry at 3.30am on June 4.
The DJ, left, presents The Jam, a four hour afternoon show and another music show on Saturday mornings.
Murray appeared in front of Dublin District Court on June 20 and was fined €300 as well as being disqualified from driving for three years.
He could not be reached for comment. FM104 refused to discuss the case, or if Murray faced disciplinary action.
