A NUMBER of homes were petrol-bombed and shot at during post-St Patrick's Day violence in south-west Dublin.
Two homes were firebombed and another was shot at within hours of each other during a night of mayhem in Ballyfermot last week.
But miraculously no one was injured in the three attacks.
Detectives are examining if the attacks are linked.
The first incident took place on Colepark Road in Ballyfermot at 3am on March 18 when two homes were petrol-bombed.
Gardai believe a number of people were involved in the dangerous incident -- which was caught on CCTV footage.
In a separate incident, a man was arrested after two shots were fired at a house on Clifden Road.
The shooting took place at 4.25am last Friday morning.
No one was injured in the shooting and the suspect, who is in his early 20s, was arrested shortly after the incident.
He was released without charge on Saturday and a file has been sent to the DPP.
