The elderly mother of comedian Tracey Ullman died in a fire caused by a cigarette she had failed to properly extinguish, an inquest has heard.
Doreen Skinner (85), was killed by a blaze in the bedroom of her sheltered accommodation.
Ullman (55), became a huge star in the UK and the United States in the 1980s.
Her mother died on the evening of March 23 at her flat in Kiln Court, in the Holtspur area of Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.
Ullman did not attend the inquest.
