The Ireland and Leinster star has given his name to a joint initiative with Concern and Women's Aid - Walk a Mile in Her Shoes.

He's now encouraging men to step into a woman's shoes for a day to highlight the worthy cause. "The money raised goes directly to two fantastic charities that do great work in the areas of women's rights and supporting women and girls effected by violence," he said. There will be three events held in Dublin, Cork and Galway on Saturday, September 13.

FFF UNDERGROUND sensation Amen Dunes are taking to the stage in the Workman's Club next month. Dave McMahon joins Jordi Wheeler and Parker Kindred with a unique new album, Love. The trio will appear at the Dublin venue on September 23. Tickets are a mere €10 on the door.

FFF CHRISTY Moore has announced a gig in aid of the children of Gaza. The Irish music legend will perform in Vicar Street on October 12.

All proceeds from the concert will go toward
helping traumatised children in Gaza. The big-hearted singer
will be joined by his pal Declan Sinnot for a night of great Irish music.

FFF SOCIALBEE, a bespoke afternoon tea service, is taking its at-home dining experience out and about to a city centre venue. Pop-up tea rooms at the Fumbally Exchange at 5 Dame Lane will run for five weeks only, from September 4 to October 5, every Thursday to Sunday. President Michael D Higgins has already sampled the fancy fare offered by SocialBee and gave it the presidential nod. Prosecco, party favours and delicious home-baked goods are the hallmark of a tea party hosted by the company.
