FFF Happenings have been dominating the Dublin event scene all summer and they're not finished yet as they have another fabulous music event planned for tonight. Happenings Music is delighted to announce that Come On Live Long and Chequerboard will be playing Fitzwilliam Square tonight. Gates are open from 7pm and tickets are €10.

FFF As a tribute to their 
favourite festival, Notting Hill Carnival, The Twisted Pepper is throwing their very own Sim Simma Carnival this Sunday, 
August 24 in the The Twisted 
Pepper on Lower Abbey Street, Dublin 1. Notting Hill Carnival is the largest street festival in Europe and originated in 1964 as a way for Afro-Caribbean 
communities to celebrate their own cultures and traditions. There will be flags, costumes, food, music and a whole lot of dancing. The event is 
completely free and will run from 6pm until late.

FFF Jazz aficianados can add a new date to their festival calendar with the news that the Viking Triangle in Waterford city is to host its first ever jazz weekend next month. The Waterford Jazz Weekender will feature an eclectic mix of swing, bebop, New Orleans, jazz-funk, modern jazz, gypsy jazz, big band and blues. All of the 
performances will be held at a number of outdoor and pub venues over the weekend. All 10 gigs are free and the festival with take place between September 5-7.

FFF Much-loved Yorkshire five-piece Embrace have just announced their Irish return with a headline show at Dublin's Academy on Abbey Street, Dublin 1, for Friday December 12, 2014. Tickets are priced at €25 inclusive of booking fee and go on sale at 9am this Friday from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and www.ticketmaster.ie.
