Fewer jobs for young

A QUARTER of 15- to 25-year-olds are in employment, down from half before the recession, figures from the Small Firms Association revealed.

During the boom years, about 325,000 under-25s were in work; at the last count, there were just 130,000.

This means that for every 10 jobs that existed at the beginning of 2008, six have gone.
