TEEN fashion retailer Abercrombie & Fitch is continuing to struggle and has reported a seventh straight quarter of decline.

The company has now warned of "significant" erosion in gross margins and a double-digit percentage fall in sales as it enters the Christmas period.

One of the major concerns for the company has been managing orders with demand and it will go into the next quarter with excessive inventory. The chain has been forced to offer discounts to move stock, which is eating into its earnings.

It opened its first outlet in Ireland on Dublin's College Green (above) about this time last year.
