PHARMACEUTICAL giant Boston Scientific has lodged plans for a €30m development in Cork.
The 100,000sq ft unit will be developed by the group on their Model Farm Road campus.
But the site but will be operated by Stryker, who earlier this year purchased Boston's neurovascular unit for €1.45bn.
The move is being billed as an attempt to secure the future of 600 jobs in the city.
And the units may, over time, create extra jobs.
