It may be a summer filler while The Late Late Show is off air, but RTE is not afraid to splash the cash for chat show Saturday Night With Miriam.
Figures released under the Freedom of Information Act showed that €42,000 in total - or €5,250 - per episode was forked out for the 2015 series.
The cash went on hair, make-up, booking guests and transport.
Keeping host Miriam O'Callaghan (59) and guests looking camera-ready comes at a price as the average cost of make-up for a single episode came in at €170 - or €1,360 for the series.
The outfits worn by the mum-of-eight and her guests also proved to be costly for show bosses as they splashed out €747 per episode on wardrobe, which added up to €5,974 across 2015.
Guests on last year's series, including Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding, footballer Stephanie Roche and singer Tony Christie were the biggest expense for the show.
RTE bosses spent €3,538 per episode on booking fees for the show's featured guests, totalling €28,303 across the series.
The show paid over €771 per episode in ground transportation to and from the Donnybrook studios.
Miriam finished the 2016 series of her chat show in August and said she was thrilled with the reception from viewers.
The Foxrock woman also revealed she does not worry about the show's ratings.
"We've got the best figures in years, it's fab. I don't worry about the ratings, I think if you're a television presenter you should care that people want to watch you, so you're not broadcasting to nobody," she said.
