Rosanna Davison has been making some famous friends on her latest trip to Germany - including George Clooney's ex-girlfriend.

Rosanna flies over for work regularly as she has a lot of top clients and makes red carpet appearances there.

"I'll be over and back every few weeks before Christmas," she said.

The blonde beauty jetted over for another appearance this week and posted pictures with a number of models including Elisabetta Canalis - an Italian actress who also happens to be George Clooney's ex-girlfriend.

Canalis and Clooney dated for two years before splitting in 2011. He went on to date Stacy Kiebler, before going on to marry lawyer Amal Almuddin in Venice earlier this year.

Rosanna and Elisabetta are signed to the same management company and were partying at the Movie Meets Media event at the Atlantic Hotel in Hamburg on Monday night.

"Being Italian, she's pretty well-known and established in her own right in Europe - but I think we all associate her as being Clooney's ex," she said.

Elisabetta wore a black shimmering dress by Roberto Cavalli while Rosanna flew the flag of an Irish company by donning a short plunging black dress from Starla dresses with her nude Christian Louboutin heels.

Davison (30) has a large fan base in Germany after landing the cover of their edition of Playboy and her father Chris De Burgh also has a massive following there.

Aside from her modelling career, Rosanna has made a number of appearances on Irish TV lately.

She recently discussed going nude for Playboy with Angela Scanlon for the RTE2 show Full Frontal.

"Shooting with Angela was a lot of fun. It was really relaxed and I totally forgot about the cameras," Davison said.

Rosanna also recently appeared in an episode of Republic Of Telly while wearing a cabbage bikini reminiscent of a lettuce one she wore for a photocall a number of years ago.

"Ah yes, cabbage bikini-gate. Shooting that was a lot of fun, I couldn't keep a straight face it was so funny but cabbage does get smelly a lot quicker than lettuce," she laughed.

Celeb hot spot Krystle marks its 8th birthday

Plenty of champagne corks were popping when celeb mecca Krystle celebrated its eighth birthday last week.

The top Harcourt Street club is known as a popular celebrity haunt and their birthday celebrations did not disappoint with Irish soccer players, top models and DJs in attendance on the night.

Krystle certainly knows how to throw a party, with an open bar, a fire breather, exquisite cocktails and a three-tier cake and cupcakes courtesy of top baker The Cupcake Bloke.

Guests included Irish soccer players, the Georgian rugby team, Rangan Aruchelevan, Christina Mahon (pictured), Eva Matou, Sarah Connolly and boyband Hometown.

Louis Walsh's new up-and-coming band took some time out from promoting their new single Where I Belong and rehearsing for Aladdin the panto at the Olympia Theatre.

Their debut single was written by Irish rockers Kodaline and the boys are delighted their track is out there for their fans to enjoy.

"We were lucky to get it because Kodaline said that it didn't suit their new album sound so luckily enough we were able to come in and take it off their hands," band member Ryan explained to the Diary.

They enjoyed a well-deserved night out at the top venue which has had a stellar year as profits soared to €1.4m.

Profits for the Russell Court Hotel - which houses Krystle nightclub and Dicey's pub on Dublin's Harcourt Street - are up 83pc on the €806,809 recorded in 2012.

Accounts now show that the firm's gross profit last year rose 4.5pc to €8.83m.

Model behaviour for Roz as she knocks booze on the head

It used to be that models were known for their wild partying ways but nowadays they're all about clean living and making sure they look their best.

Top model Roz Purcell is not one to be falling out of nightclubs with her rock star boyfriend Bressie and now she has revealed that she only enjoys a tipple a few times a year.

"I would drink about four or five times a year, and around those days when I do, I'm like an absolute pig, so that's why I don't do it," she said.

"I've never really developed a taste for alcohol, either. Last year, I think I only drank once, but that wouldn't faze me - I'd still go out sober and have a great night."

Roz (24) is known for her clean and healthy lifestyle and her love of exercise, but, like everyone, she has her vices.

She revealed to the Diary that one such temptation are her home-made nut butters.

"You think they're healthy especially when you make them yourself but they actually have so many calories in them.

"If you have one portion it's healthy but not if you eat spoon after spoon. When I do that I'm straight to the gym," she laughed.
