Ireland's top plus-size model Louise O'Reilly has landed a feature on Vogue Italia's website.
Dubliner Louise told the Diary she was delighted when she was contacted by the Italian edition of the style bible.
Louise was featured on the Vogue Curvy section of the website, with a selection of photos of the blonde beauty and a corresponding interview about her career, her style influences and her hopes for the future.
"I've known about it for a while but I didn't get to get excited in case it didn't happen," she said.
"I was contacted by them a few months ago and did an interview with one of their journalists.
"Then I showed them some pictures from a test shoot I had done with Irish photographer Eilish McCormick and they loved them.
"No one had seen the images before and they just jumped at them - they thought they were lovely.
"Vogue was delighted that they were produced by an Irish team.
"I was delighted because even though I've done a lot of international shoots, they picked images from an Irish shoot.
"They also used images from my blog which was great and other photos taken by an Irish-based photographer, Anita Sadawsk."
It has been a fantastic year for Louise as she also won Best International Blog at the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards for the second year running.
"Winning the international award for my blog, Style Me Curvy, and being featured on Vogue Italia are on a par with each other for my highlights this year," she said.
"It's been an incredible year, but I'm really busy and I'm very happy in my career."
Not one to rest on her laurels, the Morgan Models beauty is off to London on Saturday to interview some stars for the Clothes Show Live.
"The Clothes Show is huge, it's such a monster. It's on in this venue that's 20 times the size of the RDS. It's amazing," she said.
Louise will be conducting a number of interviews for the production - last year she interviewed top model Gemma Collins.
"It's amazing getting to meet so many different people and the set is incredible," she said.
"Even in the green room I'm sitting there with all these Made In Chelsea stars and other models and it's a brilliant experience."
Mum-to-be Karen Koster previously said that she'll be returning to Xpose after six months' maternity leave. Now the Diary can reveal that TV3 won't be hiring a replacement for her while she's off.
Donegal native Michelle Doherty stood in for presenter Aisling O'Loughlin while she went on maternity leave.
However, a representative for TV3 revealed that while the show will have more people working on segments behind the scenes, there won't be a new face in front of the camera.
The Xpose anchor is expecting her first baby with husband John McGuire later this month and said she was glad to go on maternity leave as she had so much left to buy.
Now Karen (35) has another item to add to her long list.
"I need to get a Moses basket because my dog chewed the one that has been passed down to me by the McGuires, so I have to get something for the child to sleep in and nappies - I have loads to do," she said.
The blonde beauty also revealed that she and her friends enjoyed a lovely trip away recently.
"My girlfriends gave me a babymoon - we went away for a night to Wexford," she said.
"It was gorgeous and they gave me a few little gifts to send me on my way, so that was very special."
Karen also admitted that she won't be wearing any make-up when she leaves the hospital following giving birth.
"I do not even have my hospital bag packed. As for a birth plan, I'll be doing whatever the doctor says," said Karen. "I haven't even thought about a going-home outfit, so I'm going to have to get that as well."
TV presenter Maura Derrane has revealed that having her first baby at the age of 43 was the highlight of her year.
"It was such a big deal for me, especially since I was that bit older having him. "It's been life changing," she said.
The TV star is looking forward to spending her first Christmas with baby Cal and Fine Gael TD husband John Deasy.
"It's our first Christmas with the bambino so we're going to go to Dungarvan where John is from and then to the Aran Islands to my family," she said.
"We're so lucky because he's a very chilled baby and doesn't mind travelling at all.
"Of course we'll bring him to see Santa even though he's probably too young to get it, but it has to be done."
The RTE star is hoping to see her career go from strength to strength next year.
"The show is great, Daithi and I have really cemented our on-screen relationship and we're a strong team now and it's solid," she said.
While Maura wants to go further in her career, she says little Cal is now the couple's top priority.
"The most important thing is Cal and that he's well and happy and really, I can't think beyond that," she said.
