DSG Retail in €5m loss

CURRYS and PC World owner DSG Retail Ireland Ltd made a pre-tax loss of €5m last year.

The company's revenues slipped by 4pc from €148.7m to €142.2m, according to accounts filed with the Companies Office.

The retailer opened two new stores in Ireland last year and the pre-tax losses last year follow the company recording a pre-tax loss of €8.3m in 2010 and €8m in 2009.
