Drumm trial delayed for witness evidence

THE US bankruptcy trial of former Anglo Irish Bank chief executive David Drumm has been postponed to the end of June 2013.

The legal delay is to allow more time for the disclosure of documents and witness statements to be taken.

The trial will take place over a four-day period starting on June 24 next year.

It was originally scheduled to have started on January 22 but was postponed after all parties to the action agreed to an extension to allow for discovery of further documents.
