Bullies drive teen to suicide
In a rare and forceful act of advocacy, a US newspaper devoted the entire front page of its Sunday edition to an anti-bullying editorial after a gay teenager committed suicide.
Relatives said 14-year-old Kenneth Weishuhn suffered intense harassment, including threatening mobile phone calls and nasty comments posted online, after coming out to family and friends about a month ago.
He died in his home area of Paullina in rural Iowa on April 15 from what the local sheriff's office described only as a "self-inflicted injury".

The bedroom is just as likely to be used for eating, texting and watching TV as sleeping these days, according to a survey.
As many as 14pc of people -- and 48pc of 18 to 24-year-olds -- eat in bed, while 41pc play with new technology.
Also, 36pc watch TV in bed and 32pc talk on the phone while under the covers, the poll by the Duvet and Pillow Warehouse found.
